PRODUCE LIKE A BOSS™ THEME SONG CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: July 18, 2025

By entering the Produce Like A Boss™ Theme Song Contest (“Contest”), you (“Participant”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Participant and Produce Like A Boss, LLC (“PLAB,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).


1. Eligibility

This Contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, affiliates, and immediate family members of PLAB are not eligible.

 


2. How to Enter

  • Submit an original theme song (“Submission”) by 11:59PM on August 11th, 2025 through the designated process.
  • Limit one entry per Participant. Multiple submissions may result in disqualification. 

 

 

3. Submission Requirements

Submissions must:

  • Be 100% original and created solely by Participant. No AI may be used for this contest.
  • Not contain any copyrighted material, samples, or third-party content unless fully licensed for commercial use (proof of licenses required).
  • Be free of explicit, offensive, or defamatory content.
  • Be submitted in the specified format (e.g., streaming link).
     

 

4. Judging & Winner Selection

Submissions will be evaluated by PLAB-appointed judges based on originality, creativity, production quality, and alignment with PLAB’s brand.

  • Winner(s) will be notified by August 18th via email and/or social media.
  • PLAB’s decision is final and non-appealable.
     

 

5. Prizes

Winner(s) will receive:

  • A prize of $250
  • Feature of their Submission on PLAB platforms.
  • Additional bonuses at PLAB’s discretion.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise determined by PLAB.

 

 

6. Intellectual Property & Licensing

  • Participant retains ownership of their Submission unless submission is selected as the winner.
  • If your Submission is selected as the winner, you will enter receive an agreement granting PLAB a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, modify, and create derivative works of your Submission in any media (now known or later developed) for promotional, commercial, or other purposes related to PLAB.
  • By entering, Participant grants PLAB an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, display, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the Submission in any media now known or later developed, for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing, promotion, and commercial use.
  • Participant waives any moral rights (including the right of attribution) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

 

7. Release of Rights: Name, Image, Likeness

By entering, Participant grants PLAB the right to use their name, image, likeness, voice, and biographical information (“Personal Attributes”) in connection with the Contest and PLAB’s promotional activities, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

 

 

8. Warranties & Representations

Participant represents and warrants that:

  • They are the sole creator and owner of the Submission and Personal Attributes provided.
  • Their Submission does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • They have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents for any third-party material used (no samples, loops, or third-party material unless fully licensed for commercial use and you can provide proof of licensing)

Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PLAB from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to their Submission or breach of these Terms.

 

 

9. Data Privacy & Compliance

PLAB collects and processes personal information in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

By entering, Participant consents to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data for purposes related to the Contest and PLAB’s business operations. Participants may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting [email protected].

PLAB will not sell or share Participants’ personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent.

 

 

10. Liability Release & Assumption of Risk

By entering, Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Contest and submitting their files electronically. Participant releases and agrees to hold harmless PLAB, its officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

  • Participation in the Contest;
  • Submission or transmission of files (including but not limited to potential exposure to viruses or malware);
  • Acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

PLAB makes no warranties or representations regarding the security or functionality of file upload processes and is not responsible for any damage to Participant’s devices or data.

 

 

11. Disqualification

PLAB reserves the right to disqualify any Participant for:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Submission of false information.
  • Conduct that undermines the integrity or fairness of the Contest.

 

 

12. Right to Modify or Cancel

PLAB reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, or circumstances beyond PLAB’s control.

 

 

13. Governing Law & Dual Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of:

  1. The State of [Insert U.S. State] for U.S.-based Participants.
  2. The laws of England and Wales for Participants residing outside the U.S.

Any disputes shall be subject to:

  • Exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts of [Insert County/State] for U.S. Participants.
  • The courts of England and Wales for international Participants.

 

 

 14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Participant and PLAB regarding the Contest and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
